ok so its been almost a year:)

We have been in Coralville almost a year now plus our family keeps expanding, so I have decided to try to keep this updated more than once a year:) Yes, you heard correctly baby number 3 is on the way; due middle of November! Rebecca can consider it her b-day present I suppose.
Speaking of Rebecca, she is loving having a little sister....still loving to "help" her do everything, teach her everything, and even talk for her most of the time;) Although Hadley may seem quiet to most people she is definitely not. A little shy maybe, but not quiet! Also very assertive, she is most sure of what she needs and wants as an almost 2yr old! I wouldn't have thought that was coming for at least another 10 yrs! I have come to realize girls at any age know what they want. So whether this new baby is a boy or girl, (no, we won't find out till it's here) will have two very tough older sisters to look out for it!
The girls have been happy going to our pool lately, playing at the park, visiting Grandparents, and playing with their new kitty. Rebecca was in dance this last season, we had her recital in the U.S. Cellular Center, big place for a 4yr old;) Needless to say she cried the entire time, classic first recital, so hundreds of dollars later we have a cute dress, pictures, and a video to prove she had "fun" maybe next year........
Clint's office had to move just up the street, to a bigger space, thankfully Mass Mutual in Iowa City seems to be working out! He now has another full office, with 8 new people. It has definitely been a great career move for him and our family. We love being in Hawkeye country again!!

Welcome

Welcome to our family blog, this will give us the opportunity to share all our little endeavors. I hope you all enjoy!

...After moving to Coralville a little over 2 months ago, and Clint opening his new office for Mass Mutual, we are finally settling in to our new life here. It is quite a bit different than living here during the college years! The girls have adjusted well. Rebecca is in dance every Tues. at the National Dance Academy and both the girls have music class every Fri. at Preucils School of music, they love it and are making new friends, as am I.

We just celebrated Hadley's first birthday with all our family, this also christened the new place making it feel a lot more like home. We do miss our yard though, so needless to say this condo lifestyle isn't going to go on forever!

Hadley's birthday was care bear themed complete with a cake from a mold my grandma gave me from the original care bears in the 80's! Big sissy Rebecca loved helping her open her presents "showing" Hadley "how to do it" Although, I think there was an underlying agenda.
